Symbolism: Ship with a crow's nest. Bages of this type could be used as a souvenir after a sea pilgrimage, or as a badge of a sailor, merchant or shipowner. It may also be associated with the journey through life under God's providence, which was undertaken at sea during storms and other dangerous situations at that time.
